IMPORTED MODEL 1850 FIELD OFFICER’S SWORD. 32” dbl fuller blade marked “Oualoud & Ce Klingenthal” on the spine. Sides of the blade are marked with typical U.S. and stand of flags etching. Iron scabbard has gilt brass mounts. CONDITION: Blade has heavy pitting at the tip, very light at the hilt. Guard is slightly bent. Grip covering is fine, wire wrap is broken and partially missing. Scabbard has traces of blue finish but mostly lightly rusted. 4-48506 FS142 (300-500)
