12″, (31 CM), RARE DOOR OF HOPE MANCHU WOMAN. Rarely found and most delicate of all the Door of Hope dolls, this woman has a rare carved headdress decorated in pink, black, and green with two dangling braids at each end. She has carved slippers which are part of the feet, the rarity being the platforms on the bottom center. She wears a wonderful costume with lavender brocade with floral design, green braid trim, with pale rose trousers concealed by the outer robe. CONDITION: Excellent, with bright colors to both doll and costume. 1-7226 RS (4,500-6,500)
