*OUTSTANDING PARKER TROJAN GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 231411. Cal. 20 ga. 28″ Trojan Steel bbl. Matted concave rib with single silver sighting bead. 2-1/2″ chambers. MOD/IMP.MOD extractors, and double triggers. Top rib marked, “Parker Bros. Makers. Meriden. CT. U.S.A. Trojan Steel.” The Trojan receiver has only “Parker Bros.” engraved on each side of receiver. Mounted with straight grain walnut and single diamond checkered splinter forend, checkered pistol grip, 14″ to serrated hard rubber butt plate. This SN is omitted from the Parker Serialization book. Bore diameter: left -.615, right -.615. Bore restrictions: left -.022, right -.015. Wall thickness: left -.028, right -.028. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″. Drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 6 lbs 4 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 95-98% orig blue with just slight muzzle wear, a few minor nicks, and a number of pinhead size spots. Receiver has 75-80% orig color strong on sides and protected areas, worn to a silver-gray patina through carrying area. Stocks are sound with a few minor dents and a couple of light scratches, forend having a few more depression dents on rear left side, but both contain 90-95% of their orig finish with sharp checkering. 4-33716 BDT114 (3,000-5,000)
