*PARKER VH GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 212214. Cal. 12 ga. 26″ Vulcan Steel bbl. Matted concave rib with single gold sighting bead. 2-9/16″ chambers. CYL/IMP.CYL choke, extractors, and double triggers. Top rib is marked, “Parker Bros. Makers, Meriden, CT. U.S.A. Vulcan Steel” The 1-1/2″ size frame is typical V grade engraved with just a simple zigzag border pattern, “Parker Bros.” on each side, and real fine scroll around the edges. Mounted with straight grain walnut with checkered splinter forend, checkered pistol grip with hard rubber grip cap, 14-1/4″ to Parker hard rubber butt plate. Parker Serialization book lists this gun as found. Bore diameter: left -.730, right -.729. Bore restrictions: left -.028, right -.003. Wall thickness: left -.035, right -.034. Drop at heel: 2-5/8″. Drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs 12 oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 85-90% orig blue with slight muzzle wear, a few usual scratches, thinning through the carrying area, and a splotchy dark patch in right chamber area. There is a slight dent about 6″ back from muzzle on left bbl. Receiver retains 65-70% orig case colors, strong in protected areas, with a blending of silver-gray through the bottom carrying area. Trigger guard has only traces of blue and is a mixture of brown and silver patina. Stocks are sound with a tiny hairline crack off of top tang, and usual light nicks and scratches retaining about 80% of it’s orig varnish finish. Mechanics are crisp, and bores are shiny with the above mentioned dent in left bbl. 4-33711 BDT112 (2,500-3,500)
