*RARE PARKER PH GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 105672. Cal. 16 ga. 28″ twist steel bbl, matted concave rib, with single silver sighting bead. 2-1/2″ chambers FULL/FULL choke, extractors, and double triggers. Top rib is marked, “Parker Bros. Makers. Meriden, Conn. Twist.” P grade receiver have very minimal amounts of engraving with “Parker Bros.” on each side and a vignette of foliate arabesque scroll on trigger plate, and modest borderline scrolling. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, checkered splinter forend, checkered pistol grip with hard rubber grip cap, 14-1/4″ to orig Parker hard rubber butt plate. This SN is omitted from the Parker Serialization book. Bore diameter: left -.662, right -.662. Bore restrictions: left -.026, right -.026. Wall thickness: left -.030, right -.030. Drop at heel: 2-3/4″, drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 6 lbs 10 oz. This is a really nice “O” frame gun. CONDITION: Fine. The twist steel bbls contain most of their orig finish with just slight muzzle wear and a few minor handling marks, and just starting to thin to the carry area. Receiver has 30-40% orig case colors, mostly in protected areas, with balance being a silver-patina color. Trigger guard has about 50% orig blue with some flaking and worn to silver in grip area. Stocks are sound with a small crack on right side from trigger guard running about 1-1/2″ back into checkering. There are minimal light handling marks, minor nicks and dings, and retain about 80-85% orig finish, with forend showing a little more wear through the carrying area. Mechanics are crisp, and bores are bright with some very minimal light pitting. 4-32036 BDT106 (2,500-4,500)
