MODEL 1812 MARYLAND CONTRACT SABER. An iron hilted Dragoon saber with iron scabbard. Blade is not marked with the Maryland “M” but is definitely a Maryland sword. SIZE: Blade is 33-3/8″, overall is 38-1/4″. CONDITION: Iron has overall dark brown patina except where cleaned. Leather is 60% intact. Blade is good with normal wear and a few minor nicks to blade. Scabbard as well has dark brown patina, except where cleaned. There exists a few shallow dents near the tip and a small hole has rusted through the very tip. 4-48989 BF3 (1,200-1,400)
