PAIR OF DRESDEN URNS. Beautiful covered Dresden urns have green ground with gold trim of scrolls and filigree with a center cartouche on body painted with a man and woman walking in garden with a villa in background. Backside has cartouche of man and woman standing in garden. Foot of urn has two cartouches decorated with multicolored flowers. Second vase has cartouche similar to first vase, but with slightly different figures and backgrounds. Each urn has matching decorated lid. Signed on bottom “Dresden 12692 Germany” and what appears to be artist’s initials in gold “KW PR.”. One vase has paper label from “Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia”. SIZE: 12″ t.
