GALLAGER CIVIL WAR SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 60 Smoothbore. SN: 4493. 22” rnd bbl. Standard “GALLAGER / PATENTED JULY 17TH 1860” on the lockplate. The bbl has been bored smooth for use as a shotgun but it is still percussion. CONDITION: Gray patina mixed with light pitting overall. Wood is missing slivers and chips around the action and has been repaired, sanded and refinished. Action is good. 4-52775 FS108 (1,000-1,500)
