*SCARCE PARKER PH GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 224898. Cal. 16 ga. 28″ Parker steel bbls, matted concave rib, with dual silver sighting beads. 2-1/2″ chambers IMP.CYL/IMP.CYL choke, extractors, and double triggers. These scarce P grade receivers have only minimal amount of scroll engraving, and “Parker Bros.” also engraved on each side of frame. Mounted with semi fancy walnut, checkered splinter forend, checkered pistol grip with hard rubber grip cap, 14″ to orig Parker hard rubber butt plate. Parker Serialization book identifies this gun as found. Bore diameter: left -.669, right -.667. Bore restrictions: left -.009, right -.009. Wall thickness: left -.021, right -.024. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″. Drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs 13 oz. Extremely hard to find P grade with steel bbls, and 1 frame 16 ga. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 90-95% orig blue with just light muzzle wear, a few minor scratches, and thinning at the carry area. Receiver has 35-40% orig fading case colors stronger in protected areas, balance being a blend of silvery-brown patina. Trigger guard is a similar silver-brown patina. Stocks are sound with a few minor nicks and dings, a light coat of added finish with wear in the top grip area, and at corners of raised side panel.
