RARE TIFFANY DOUBLE INKWELL. Exceptionally rare Tiffany bronze double inkwell is oval in shape with a accessories tray on top and riveted front panel. Curved doors on each side open to reveal a swing-out cauldron shaped inkwell. Insert for the inkwell is gold favrile. The inkwell has a wonderful red-brown patina with rich green highlights. Marked on bottom “Tiffany Studios New York D1070 5”. SIZE: 6-1/2” across x 4-1/8” d x 4” t. CONDITION: One favrile glass inkwell cup is missing, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-70869 (15,000-25,000)
