MAYNARD SECOND MODEL CIVIL WAR CARBINE. Cal. 50. SN: 187. 20” part octagonal bbl, “JM” and “ASN” cartouches on the left side of the stock. Made by Mass. Arms Co. Standard markings on both sides of the frame. CONDITION: Strong traces of blue at the rear of the bbl, case hardening colors have almost faded entirely. The front of the bbl and the upper tang are deeply pitted. The action is fine. 4-52524 FS43 (1,000-1,750)
