ANCHOR LINE STEAMSHIP TIN SIGN. Self-framed tin sign with illustration of the “Cameronia”, one of Anchor Line’s twin screw steamships. Her maiden voyage took place in 1911 and she steamed between New York, Glasgow & Londonderry until torpedoed by a German U-boat on April 15, 1917. SIZE: 38” w x 25-1/2” h. CONDITION: A few perimeter dents; two nail holes in the bottom margin; field of image exhibits light to moderate foxing and some paint loss to lower left corner. PF 1-6844 (300-500)
