SHARPS CONVERSION CARBINE. Cal. 50/70. SN 59027. 22” rnd bbl, marked “DFC” cartouche in the center of the left side of the stock. Six groove rifling. Retains most of the original markings with only loss to the company name in front of the rear sight. The front lockplate screw has a badly broken head and is frozen in place. CONDITION: Very good. 70% blue on the bbl and traces of casehardening on the action, all mixed with light surface rust and pitting. Buttstock is fine. Forearm has been painted black but this is now mostly removed. Action is fine. Bore is poor. 4-52516 FS37 (1,750-2,500)
