PROVIDENCE TOOL CO. MODEL 1860 SWORD. 34-7/8” dbl fuller blade marked “PROV. / TOOL / CO.” on the left ricasso, “U.S. / M / 1862” on the right. CONDITION: Numerous nicks on the edge of the blade, moderate to heavy pitting on the tip of the blade, light to moderate elsewhere. The hilt is heavily corroded with paint splashes on the leather covering. There are also paint splashes on the scabbard which is bent in two places, dented and pitted elsewhere. 4-48603 X36 (Lowry Estate) (500-800)
