*PARKER DHE GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 176884. Cal. 12 ga. 26″ Titanic Steel bbls with matted concave rib, and single gold sighting bead. 2-3/4″ chambers IMP.CYL/MOD chokes, ejectors, and double triggers. Top rib is marked, “Parker Bros. Makers, Meriden, Conn. Titanic Steel.” The 1 size frame is engraved in characteristic D pattern with foliate arabesque scroll and a banner with, “Parker Bros.”, an oval with pointer on left side, scroll and four pheasants on trigger plate, and scroll with banner “Parker Bros.” with oval and setter on right. Mounted with fiddleback walnut, checkered splinter forend, checkered pistol grip with hard rubber grip cap, side panels with dropper point, and 14-1/4″ to skeleton butt. Parker Serialization book identifies this as a T13 with 26″ bbls. Bore diameter: left -.734, right -.731. Bore restrictions: left -.027, right -.006. Wall thickness: left -.031, right -.032. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″. Drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6 lbs 12 oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 85-90% orig blue with some very fine pin pricked rust spots, slight muzzle wear, and thinning to the carrying area. There is a faint ID number inscribed on lower rib just behind bbl lug. Receiver has 80-85% orig case colors blended with dark gray patina at balance point of bottom of receiver. Trigger guard has 40-50% orig blue blended with brown patina with sharp edge wear and silvered in grip area. Skeleton butt has traces of blue with silver mixed with brown spotty patina. Stocks are sound with minor hairline cracks behind top tang. Usual nicks and dings with some darkening in grip area forward, and retains most of a light coat of added finish.
