IMPORTED TIFFANY CAVALRY SABER. 35-3/4” single fuller blade marked “TIFFANY & Co / star / TC” on right ricasso “R.M. & S.B” on back. Scabbard is missing. Heavy iron hilt with leather wrapped grip in the German style. See h. Peterson’s book “American Sword”. CONDITION: Gray patina overall with moderate to heavy pitting on the right side of the bbl, light on the left. Very heavy pitting on the top of the grip, lighter on the guard.
