*FINE PARKER DH GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 122530. Cal. 16 ga. 26″ Titanic Steel bbls, matted concave rib, with single silver sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, CYL./CYL. choke, extractors and double triggers. Top rib marked, “Parker Bros. Makers, Meriden, Conn. Titanic Steel.” The D quality receiver is engraved with foliate arabesque scroll, a banner with “Parker Bros.”, and an oval with a pointer on left side. Foliate arabesque scroll with four ducks on trigger plate, arabesque scroll and banner with “Parker Bros.”, and oval with setter on right. Trigger guard is engraved with open arabesque scroll. Mounted in fancy straight grain walnut with checkered splinter forend, checkered pistol grip with hard rubber grip cap, raised side panels with dropper points, and 14″ to skeleton butt plate. Bore diameter: left -.662, right -.663. Bore restrictions: left -.001, right -.002. Wall thickness: left -.025, right -.026. Drop at heel: 3″. Drop at comb: 1-7/8″. Weight: 6 lbs 5 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain 90-95% orig blue with slight muzzle wear, a few minor nicks and scratches, and starting to thin to the carry area. Receiver retains 80-85% orig vivid case colors with wear at balance point to a silver-gray patina. Trigger guard has 50-60% orig blue with sharp edge wear, and worn to silver-patina through grip area. Skeleton butt has only traces of orig blue but mostly a silver-patina. Stocks are solid with just normal light minor nicks and dings, some darkening in top grip area behind top tang, and retains 90-95% of a light thin coat of added finish.
