RARE CONFEDERATE SHARPS CARBINE. Cal. 54. SN 4582 (middle digit of SN not clear). 21 5/8” bbl, marked “RICHMOND Va” on top of the bbl. “WxC” is carved on the left side of the stock. CONDITION: Rust/brown patina overall, the bbl band is battered, the forearm is warped and repaired. There are several cracks, some repaired, at the butt. Lever pinhead is broken off and is missing, otherwise the action is good. 4-52486 FS14 (8,000-15,000)
