DAUM CAMEO AND ENAMELED VASE. Very unusual Daum vase has tall slender design with applied frosted handles. One side of the vase has enameled scene of windmills along the shoreline with fisherman walking downpath. The enameling is done in gray and black against a light blue and cream opalescent ground. The reverse side of the vase has cameo and enameled flowers. The leaves and stems are enameled in greens and yellows while the flowers are done in red, yellow and orange. Signed on bottom in blue “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 11″ t. CONDITION: Some areas of missing enamel, this appears to be from manufacture and not from wear or damage, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-70607 (4,000-6,000)
