AUSTRIAN PORTRAIT VASE. Rare Austrian vase has magnificent bright blue iridescence with flashes of gold, green and purple. Center medallion is heavily enameled with a portrait of a beautiful woman with long flowing brown hair. Impressed on the underside “70980” and “76”. SIZE: 7-1/2 in. t. CONDITION: Minor crazing to enamel portrait, otherwise very good to excellent. Collection of Dr. C. & Margaret Chastain 5-61419 (400-600)
