AMES MODEL 1860 STAFF AND FIELD SWORD WITH FOLDING COUNTER GUARD. 29” diamond shaped blade is etched on both sides with the marking “AMES. / MFG. Co. / CHICOPEE / MASS.” on the left side. Scabbard is nickel plated and has gold wash on the mounts. CONDITION: Excellent with bright blade. Retaining most of the finish on the scabbard and hilt. 4-48551 FS131 (Lowry Estate) (500-800)
