RESTORED CRASS MODEL ITHACA GRADE 3 SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 15229. Cal. 10 ga. 30″ Damascus Steel bbl. 2-7/8″ chambers, chokes MOD/FULL, extractors, and double triggers. The grade 3 receiver is engraved with moderate foliate arabesque scroll, and “Ithaca Gun Co.” on each side with a flying duck in a marsh scene on left side, and a woodcock in flight on right. The fences are relief cut with a stippled background. Mounted with well figured fancy walnut with a replacement Fleur De Lis checkered beavertail forend, Fleur De Lis checkered pistol grip, with sculpted horn grip cap, 14″ to a horn Ithaca marked butt plate. Bore diameter: left -.815, right -.795. Bore restrictions: left -.030, right -.020. Wall thickness: left -.025, right -.041. Drop at heel: 2-1/4″. Drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Weight: 10 lbs 11 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine as restored. Bbls retain most of their brown Damascus restored pattern with a slight amount of thinning in the carry area, and a few of the usual light nicks and scratches. Receiver has nearly all of it’s fine restored case color, and engraving is sharp. Trigger guard retains nearly all of it’s fine restored blue finish. Stock has repaired break running through checkering, and retains most of it’s fine restored finish. 4-33291 BDT117 (2,000-4,000)
