ENGLISH DIPLOMATIC SWORD. 29” straight blade, marked “Moore / Late / Bicknell /& / Moore / -1- / Old Bona / -St- / London” on the left ricasso. Blade is etched with vines and leaves. Hilt is gold plated. Leather scabbard has throat and drag decorated with small balls to match the hilt. All mounted on a 9-1/2 x 44” wood plaque with a black velvet cover. CONDITION: Near excellent with a few scattered spots on the blade. Hilt and mounts are bright. 4-48600 FS136 (Lowry Estate) (800-1,200)
