CUNARD LINE “LUSITANIA” STEAMSHIP TIN SIGN. Self-framed tin sign from the H.D. Beach Co. of Coshocton, Ohio; illustrating the British registry Lusitania on its New York to Liverpool run. The Lusitania made her maiden voyage in 1907 and was tragically sunk by German torpedoes on May 7, 1915 prior to the outbreak of WWI. SIZE: 38-1/2” w x 27-1/2” h. CONDITION: A few dents to the perimeter figural rope border; scattered light chips and some spotting to the field image; overall a good looking sign. 1-6427 (1,200-1,400)
