*ITHACA NID FIELD GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 460651. Cal. 16 gauge. 28″ bbls. MOD/FULL. 2-3/4″ chambers, single brass sighting bead, double triggers, and extractors. Mounted w/ straight grain American walnut w/ checkered splinter fore end, checkered pistol grip stock w/ hard rubber grip cap 14-1/4″ over hard rubber butt plate. Bore restriction: left .029 right .019. Wall thickness: left .036 right .028. Bore diameter: left .664 right .664. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″. Drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight 6 lbs 8 oz. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 80-85% orig. blue w/ a few minor scratches and thinning in the carrying area. Last style receiver w/ border engraving retains 75-80% orig. case coloring; stronger in protected areas, and a few minor discolorations from carrying. Stock is sound w/ slight hair line crack off of right side of receiver w/ some finished crazing and numerous nicks and dings w/ finish flaked. Slight mar on right side of upper tang caused by opening lever. Fore end has a few minor bruises and a little flat in the checkering.
