*SCARCE ITHACA NID GRADE 3E SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 457587. Cal. 20ga. 26″ best fluid steel bbls with tapered checkered rib, dual ivory sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers IMP. CYL/MOD chokes, sgl selective trigger and ejectors. This cocking indicator model grade 3 receiver is engraved with a woodcock and “ITHACA GUN CO.” engraved on left side, a flying duck and circle on bottom, and a quail with “ITHACA N.Y.” on right side, accompanied with moderate foliate scroll and stipple background. Mounted with semi-fancy American walnut with checkered fore end, and checkered pistol grip with hard rubber grip cap, 14″ over Ithaca sunburst pad. Also accompanying the gun is a serial number Ithaca hanging tag. Bore diameter: left -.615, right -.615. Bore restrictions: left -.014, right -.008. Wall thickness: left -.035, right -.032. Drop at heel: 2-5/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 6lbs 8oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 95-98% orig blue with just some minor light scratches and normal handling wear. Receiver has 85-90% orig case hardening with some thinning to silver patina color across bottom. The trigger guard has 90-95% orig blue with just a slight amount of wear at pistol grip. Stocks are solid with a few minor handling marks and a few minor scratches and a light coat of added finish. Fore end has just a few minor marks and a small hairline crack upper rear left side.
