AMES MODEL 1860 NAVAL CUTLASS. 26-1/8” single fuller blade, overstamped Ames marking on the left ricasso and an anchor over “U.S.N / P. / D.R / 1862” on the right. In copper riveted leather sheath. CONDITION: Blade is bright but has scattered spots of rust, pitting, and stains. The tip is slightly bent. The guard has been highly polished. Scabbard is fine.
