U.S. MODEL 1913 CAVALRY SABER. 35-1/4” straight, single fuller blade marked “L.F. & C. / 1918” around the ordnance bomb on the left ricasso and “U.S.” above an eagle/”No 13” inspector mark. The treated canvas scabbard has painted iron mounts. Heavy felt guard liner is intact. CONDITION: Bright blade with scattered light pitting. About half of the black paint remains on the exterior surfaces. Canvas has a few scuffs but is still solid. 4-48552 FS159 (Lowry Estate) (500-800)
