Housed in a black painted wood frame with matte. 2) Félix Saturnin Brissot de Warville (French, 1818-1892) Four boroughs at a water trough. Etching shows four boroughs standing at a stone trough. Signed in plate. Housed in a black painted frame with matte. 3) Mortimer Mempes (British, 1860-1938) Cathedral. Etching shows the front of an ornate cathedral with figures in the entryway. Pencil signed lower right outside of image. Housed in a black wood frame with white matte. 4) Peter Marcus (American, 1889-1934) “Awaiting the Spring”. Etching shows a stream with snow covered banks lined with trees. Initialed in plate and having an Arthur Ackermann & Son, Inc. label affixed to reverse. Housed in a brown wood frame with white matte.
