WILSON MODEL 1872 CAVALRY SWORD. 33-5/8” single fuller blade etched on both sides with military themes and the marking “J.H. / WILSON / PHIL. CO / PA.”. Plated iron scabbard with gilt bronze mounts. CONDITION: Bright blade with minor widely scattered pits. Hilt has a dark patina, scabbard has minor pitting where the plating has flaked. Most of gilt is gone from the carrying rings. 4-48601 FS160 (Lowry Estate) (300-500)
