BIGELOW & KENNARD ACORN LAMP. Wonderful Bigelow & Kennard lamp shade has nicely mottled clambroth background glass with subtle green acorns. Signed “Bigelow. Kennard & Co. Boston” and “Bigelow Studios”. The shade rests on a magnificent copper base that is reminiscent of a Grueby pottery design. The wonderful base is trimmed with silver and supports a three light cluster with acorn pulls. Marked on bottom “Copper & Silver”. SIZE: Shade is 18” dia. Overall height is 21-1/2”. CONDITION: Shade has several cracked border panels, but all are tight and intact. The base is very good to excellent. 5-70840 (9,000-12,000)
