*SPECTACULAR ITHACA NID 4E GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 448984. Cal. 16ga. 26″ best fluid steel bbls, factory vent rib with sgl brass sighting bead, 2-9/16″ chambers CYL/IMP. MOD, sgl selective trigger and ejectors. Receiver is engraved in typical 4 pattern with flying duck on left side with “ITHACA GUN CO.” and pheasant with “ITHACA, N.Y.” on right, with remainder of a foliate pattern with stipple background and a diamond checkering pattern on fences with single punch dot. Mounted with semi-fancy walnut with checkered splinter fore end, with fleur-de-lis checkered pistol grip with hard rubber grip cap, 14″ over Ithaca sunburst pad. Bore diameter: left -.665, right -.665. Bore restrictions: left -.022, right -.002. Wall thickness: left -.026, right -.028. Drop at heel: 2-5/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/4″. Weight:7lbs. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl has nearly all its original blue with just a couple very light handling marks. Receiver retains 95-98% bright vivid case coloring with just a slight amount of thinning at the carrying point. Stock is sound with just a few very light storage marks and a small ding on left side just behind checkering. Fore end is extremely good with only very minor scratches.
