RUSS WEBSTER (American, 1904-1984) GLOUCESTER HARBOR. Oil on canvas harbor scene shows a lobster boat at dock with two men working. Several other boats are seen against docks with buildings and seagulls fly overhead. Housed in a modern silver gilt frame. Signed lower left “Russ Webster”. This painting shows the influence that his friend, Emile Gruppe had, as they painted in the Gloucester/Rockport area together. SIZE: 20” x 24”. CONDITION: One small patch to reverse corresponding to center horizon level. Very good. 9-73507 (500-700)
