AMES HEAVY CAVALRY SABER. 35-5/8” dbl fuller blade marked “AMES MFG. CO. / CABOT VILLE / 1850” on the left ricasso “US / A.D.K” on the right. Iron scabbard lap brazed on lower edge. Brown leather covering on grip with twisted brass wire. CONDITION: Fine with scattered light pitting on blade, the scabbard has been cleaned and has a few small dents.
