RARE MILLARD MODEL 1860 CAVALRY SWORD. 35-3/4” dbl fuller blade marked “D.J MILLARD / CLAYVILLE NY” in an oval on the left ricasso and “U.S. / WEH / 1862” on the right. Leather covered grip with twisted brass wire wrap. Iron scabbard and mounts. CONDITION: Gray patina with light pitting and a few nicks on the blade, mellow patina to the guard.
