*VERY SCARCE ITHACA NID 7E GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 457510. Cal. 20ga. 30″ “BEST FLUID STEEL” bbls factory vent rib, dual ivory sighting beads with front missing, 2 3/4″ chambers, MOD./FULL choke, ejectors and selective single trigger, both bbls have an 1 1/2″ engraving over each chamber and right bbl having “ITHACA GUN Co.” and left bbl having “ITHACA, N.Y. USA”. The indicator model receiver has a copper colored duck and a gold duck and gold cattail on left side. Copper colored spread winged Eagle with silver head on bottom and copper colored rooster pheasant and gold hen on right. MADE in U.S.A. is engraved below Eagle on bottom of receiver. There is also a gold engraved elk head on trigger guard and gold RSL on top tang for safety and selecting left or right bbl. The balance of this fully engraved receiver is in a bold leaf and vine pattern with dark shaded background. Mounted with fancy American walnut and checkered beavertail fore end with black tip insert, pistol grip stock with elaborate fleur de lis checkering and fleur de lis checkered raised side panels, with black hard rubber grip cap, with pewter insert engraved with dogs head. 13 3/4″ from single trigger to solid red old English recoil pad. Gold initial shields engraved with TM in toeline. Water table and fore end iron have been un-obtrisively marked by electric pencil with a personal identification number. Bore diameter: left -.167, right -.165. Bore restrictions: left -.024, right -.012. Wall thickness: left -.029, right -.028. Drop at heel:2 1/4″, drop at comb:1 1/2″ . Weight:7lbs 9oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 90-95% of the orig. blue with just some of the usual light handling and hunting marks and a few areas that are starting to thin. Receiver retains 25-30% case coloring mostly in protected areas. Remaining receiver is mostly a silver hardening color. Trigger guard has 98% of a professional factory restored finish. Stocks are solid with a few minor chips around lower tang and trigger guard and the usual light nicks and dings and most of its professionally restored factory type of finish. Fore end has only a few typical light hunting marks. Mechanics are crisp and bores are shinny. 4-33294 BDT79 (27,500-37,500)
