STARR 1826 CUTLASS. 25-3/4” deeply curved single fuller blade marked “US / N.STARR” on the right side. Metal scabbard with no throat fits the blade. Painted wood grip and sheet iron guard. CONDITION: Only traces of the black paint finish on the scabbard remain. Mostly a brown patina. About 1/2 the black paint remains on the grip that is still solid. Scabbard has two dents on the reverse side near the tip. 4-48575 FS98 (Lowry Estate) (1,000-1,500)
