*OUTSTANDING PHILADELPHIA A.H. FOX STERLINGWORTH SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 115194. Cal. 12 gauge. 30″ bbls with matted tapered concave rib, and single silver sighting bead. 2-3/4″ chambers, IMP.MOD/FULL choke, extractors, and double trigger. Standard Sterlingworth receiver with simple zigzag border engraving, and, “Sterlingworth” on each side. Mounted in straight grain walnut with checkered splinter forend, and checkered pistol grip with black hard rubber grip cap, 14″ to serrated hard rubber butt plate. Bore diameter: left -.727, right -.727. Bore restrictions: left -.043, right -.033. Wall thickness: left -.028, right -.033. Drop at heel: 2-3/4″. Drop at comb: 1-3/4″. Weight: 7 lbs 2 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine as gun shows little use. There is a very faint bit of muzzle wear, and a few light handling marks on bbl. Receiver retains nearly all of it’s vibrant orig case colors, with a little thinning through the carry area showing some silver/patina. Trigger guard has sharp edge wear and thinning to some silver/patina in grip area. Stocks are solid with a few minor handling marks and a small chip out behind the top tang, with scratches to the orig finish, which is still about 95%. 4-33706 BDT197 (1,750-2,750)
