*A.H. FOX A GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 200729. Cal. 20ga. 26″ Krupp fluid steel bbls. IMP. CYL/MOD. 2-1/2″ chambers with tapered concave matted rib with sgl silver sighting bead, crossbolt rib extension, ejectors, and dbl triggers. Receiver is engraved in standard A pattern of foliate with shaded background. Each side is engraved “Ansley H. Fox” across the center. Mounted with straight grain American walnut, checkered splinter fore end, and checkered semi-pistol grip stock, 14-3/8″ to a hard rubber buttplate. Bore diameter: left -.615, right -.615. Bore restrictions: left -.012, right -.005. Wall thickness: left -.027, right -.023. Drop at heel: 2-7/8″, drop at comb: 1-7/8″. Weight: 5lbs 15oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain about 98% of orig blue with just a few light handling marks. Receiver has pretty much full vivid case colors. Trigger guard shows only a slight amount of wear through the pistol grip area. Stock is sound with about a 2-1/2″ professional repair to the toe with the finish being blended foreward to the pistol grip area which appears to retain original finish. Checkering is fine and original. Mechanics are crisp and bores are bright and shiny. 4-33287 BDT60 (4,500-6,500)
