STARR CAVALRY SABER. 31-3/4” deeply curved single fuller blade marked “US / P / LS / N.STARR” on the right ricasso and dated 1821 on the knuckle bow. The iron scabbard has surface mounted rings with no loops around the scabbard. CONDITION: Blade is bright with numerous small nicks in the blade on the edge, the hilt is lightly rusted and missing most of the leather covering on the grip. Scabbard is very rusty and both carrying rings have been resoddard. 4-48580 FS111 (Lowry Estate) (600-900)
