HANDEL VENETIAN SCENE TABLE LAMP. Beautifully enameled Venetian scene lamp features ships in the harbor and Venice in the background. All in a water color palette of mauves, blue, green and yellow with a beautiful blue sky streaked yellow and mauve clouds. Signed on the rim “Handel 6757” and artist initialed “HB” and signed on the rim “Handel Lamps Pat’d No 979664″ on the ring. Shade is supported by a Handel lamp base of simple Arts & Crafts styling, three sockets and acorn pull chains and is completed with a brown patina. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Overall 23″ t. CONDITION: Shade has 2” hairline extending from top ring downward. Base shows wear to patina with slight oxidation to one area. 5-66858 (1,500-2,500)
