*A.H. FOX CE GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 203148. Cal. 20ga. 28″ chromox fluid compressed steel bbls. 2-1/2″ chambers and choked MOD/FULL with tapered concave matted rib and sgl silver sighting bead, crossbolt rib extension, ejectors, and dbl triggers. Receiver is engraved in standard C pattern with vignettes of two quail on left side, two woodcock on right side, and setter on bottom surrounded by foliate arabesque pattern. Mounted with dark streaky American walnut with black insert, checkered splinter fore end, checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber drip cap, and checkered raised side panels. 14-1/4″ to serrated hard rubber buttplate. Bore diameter: left -.620, right -.620. Bore restrictions: left -.030, right -.018. Wall thickness: left -.021, right -.021. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 5lbs 14oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain about 95% orig blue with some light muzzle wear and a few scattered light handling marks. Receiver has 80-85% orig case coloring with wear to a silvery patina across the bottom. Trigger guard shows normal blue wear through the pistol grip area. Stocks are solid with most of its orig finish with about 1″ grain crack on right side center near buttplate. There’s also about 5″ long scratch running near the comb on the right side. Fore end has one minor depression dent on rear left side, both with the usual light hunting nicks and dings. Mechanics are crisp and bores are bright and shiny. 4-33658 BDT58 (8,000-12,000)
