EARLY HANDEL OVERLAY TABLE LAMP. Eight sided, twenty-four paneled early Handel slag panel lamp features a simple metal overlay leaf design. Shade is unsigned. Shade is supported by an original Handel base with a single socket, acorn pull and matching leaf design at foot of base. Base is signed “Handel 5800”. SIZE: Shade is 17″ dia. Overall 21″ t. PROVENANCE: Dr. Irving Paul Collection. CONDITION: Shade has had a significant amount of work; repairs to metal, cracked and replaced panels and solder work etc. Base is very good. 5-66737 (1,500-2,500)
