VERY RARE ELNATHAN TABER BANJO CLOCK. Dial signed “Warranted E. Taber”. The works are engraved twice by E. Taber and apparently was done when the clock was returned to Taber for adjustments or a cleaning. Deadbeat movement. Side arms and finial are not original. Glass is original and bottom door has Coat of Arms, which probably is one of the original state emblems, with eagle. This clock was made when Taber was working for Simon Willard and being his master apprentice, he allowed Taber to sign his clocks. SIZE: 33-1/2” h. CONDITION: Bottom door glass is badly broken and held in place by another piece of glass. Otherwise, as described above. 9-93067 (18,000-22,000)
