HANDEL MUSHROOM TABLE LAMP. Lamp begins with a mushroom shaped shade featuring two obverse painted lizards painted in green with gold highlighting set against a watercolor palette of purple, blue, yellow and green swirls. Inside of shade has iridescent finish. Shade is signed on the exterior fitter in gold “Handel Co. 2297”. Shade is supported by an early Handel peacock base with a polished gold finish and two socket cluster. Base is signed “PJ Handel 1644”. SIZE: Shade is 10″ dia. Overall 20″ t. CONDITION: Shade has restoration to rim along with chipping. Base has numerous areas of silver solder showing. 5-67652 (4,500-5,500)
