IVES STANDARD GAUGE ELECTRIC PASSENGER SET. This set is sometimes called the “Ives Tiger Set”. 1) Engine #3236R (transition body normally a #8). The wheels are remakes out of cast iron; the frame appears to have been redone in a few places. The cab appears to be original and is in flat black. 2) Coach #185 in orange with a black roof and gold and white trim. There are minor scratches on the roof as well as minor aggravations on the car; two dings on the side. CONDITION: Overall very nice plus. 3) Observation car #186 with orange sides and a black roof. One or two minor chips; one truck is loose. CONDITION: Overall very nice plus. EC 1-6509 (275-350)
