Large jug having a black transfer of a patriotic cartouche “Peace, Plenty and Independence” (P.14 in Arman’s Book on Anglo American Ceramics) probably Herculaneum Pottery. Seal of the United States under the spout and large three-mast ship flying American flag on other side, possibly the Constitution. Unmarked base. SIZE: 10” h. CONDITION: Crack in body on handle side, chips on base, otherwise good with a good strong transfer. 9-29068 (1750-2750)
