FIGURAL CAST IRON CIGAR ADVERTISING CLOCK. Fabulous counter top advertising clock for the L.O. Grothe & Co of Montreal promoting “The Boston Cigar” and “The Peg-Top Cigar”. Clock features its original Ansonia Clock Co. insert flanked by a figural pair of formally attired gents amidst a cascade of tobacco leaves. SIZE: 15-1/2″ w x 11″ h x 2-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Very good with uniform surface wear. Surface retains some of its original copper flashing and a later but old mustard yellow paint. Clock appears to need adjustment. 1-8261 PF (800-1,200)
