EARLY 19TH OR LATE 18TH CENTURY WEATHERVANE POST SUPPORT. Believed to be of oak, this early turned finial with molded base retaining very old (but not first coat) white paint. A wonderful architectural piece with a great looking surface for weathervane display. SIZE: 35” h, base approximately 10” square. CONDITION: Structurally sound, some old age splits and other various minor imperfections. 9-29472 (600-900)
