CARVED WALL EAGLE PLAQUE. Early 20th century, spread-wing Federal-style eagle with carved and painted shield at belly; a draped flag beneath the eagle on either side. In old gold paint hand carved of pine, nicely detailed. SIZE: 24” w x 9” h. CONDITION: A couple of old small splits in the back on one end of the drape not visible from the front and a couple of small of chips on the back of the drape. The chips show plenty of old color and patina. Retains original paint that has a nice old dull patina. 9-29466 (750-1250)
